Wii Gaming at the
Buhl Public Library
July 6th thru July 16th
During Library Hours.
The library is again borrowing two Wii systems from the Arrowhead Library System. The games include Rockband, Guitar Hero World Tour, Wii Sports (bowling, tennis, golf), Wii Fit, Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz, Mario Kart, Wii Play, Super Smash, Brother Brawl.
Since there are only two systems you will need to sign up ahead of time to be sure you can play. When you sign up be sure to say what game you want.
Sign-ups begin 11 a.m. July 6, call 258-3391.
LIBRARY HOURS: Monday, Tuesday & Friday 11 to 6; Wednesday 11 to 5; Thursday 11 to 7.

Halloween 2008!
In 2008 the library hosted a Halloween Party. We had lots of kids come in their costumes!!
National Library Week 2008
The thing about pictures is that they are forgotten or lost. I left this film in my car - - - I basically LOST it. There are some really good pictures here of 2008's National Library Week including Origami, a Paper Plane Flying Contest, and Treasure Hunt. Included are some Pictures!

Debra Frasier, illustrator for the Minnesota Summer Reading Program, "Look What’s Cookin’ at your library!" will present a free program at the Buhl Public Library at 10 a.m. on August 1, 2008. MAKE YOUR OWN CUT PAPER COLLAGE WITH DEBRA FRASIER IS THE THEME. It is for school aged student up to adults.
Debra Frasier is the author and illustrator of A Birthday Cake is No Ordinary Cake. Debra is, also, the author and illustrator of On the Day you were Born, Out of the Ocean, and Miss Alaineus. Frasier lives in Minneapolis.
Come learn how to make cut paper illustrations with author and illustrator, Debra Frasier. Debra's slide presentation breaks down the process into simple steps that any age can try. Be inspired by dozens of samples of student work then pick out papers and cut away!.
This Kids’ Stuff Program is sponsored by the Arrowhead Library System and the Buhl Public Library.
