Hello Everyone! Today many new young ones, and not so young, enjoyed 8 more books! Our theme this week was pets. Our older group read: Pinkerton, Behave!, by Steven Kellogg; So Many Cats!, by Beatrice Schenk de Regniers; and Alex and the Cat, by Helen V. Griffith. Our younger group enjoyed a picnic outside as they read: Bookstore Cat, by Cindy Wheeler; The Last Puppy, by Frank Asch; Cats Sleep Anywhere, by Eleanor Farjeon; Miss Hindy's Cats, by Helena Clare Pittman; and My Cats Nick & Nora, by Isabelle Harper & Barry Moser.
For a list of the rest of our picture book pet stories visit the Buhl Library and ask for the pet book list! See you all next week!
