Good Morning Everyone!!! What a wonderful day for reading inside and out!
The older reading included two stories; The Unbeatable Bread, by Ly Littlefield Hoopes and Olson's Meat Pies, by Peter Cohen and Olof Landstrom. Both great books, with wonderful illustrations, for a little older child.
My younger reading group was outside today and I read the following: George's Store by Frank Asch, Pig Pig Gets a Job by David McPhail, The Storekeeper by Tracey Campbell Pearson, Olson's Meat Pies by Peter Cohen and Olof Landstrom, and The Pottery Place by Gail Gibbons.
Next week on July 27, 2006 we will hold our StoryTime Picnic grand finale for the summer!!! We are ending our first storytime series with a picnic for all ages and families, from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Bring your own lunch, beverages and dessert will be provided by the library.
!!!!!!!THERE WILL BE TWO BIG SURPRISES!!!!!!!
